WHAT: beach cleanupPlease join us for our Ninth Annual SDG Beach Cleanup! Held Sunday, June 2 from 8 to 10 a.m. at South Tower 5 in Delray, you and your friends and family members are invited to show our local beach some love. Last year we had more than 55 community members join forces to pick up and remove cigarette butts, single-use plastic bags, paper and plastic cups, plastic cartons and more.
We are partnering with local organizations, including the Delray Downtowner, Saltwater Brewery, Delivery Dudes, Caloosa Waterwear, Pizza Rustica, Surfrider Foundation Palm Beach Chapter, Richwagen's, 2Ton, Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Community Greening. It's going to be a great event spreading awareness, and we hope to see you on the beach!
