Say YES 👍🏽to Clean, Renewable Energy!
Say NO 👎 to Dirty Fossil Fuels and Seismic Airgun Blasting
Livelihoods in coastal communities across the country rely on America’s coastal waters. The Trump administration’s push to open our coastlines to offshore leasing would threaten the livelihoods of those in the fishing and tourism industries, and countless small businesses along our coastlines. There are over $115 billion dollars at risk when new oil spills occur. America’s publicly-owned waters should be conserved and protected, not turned over to the oil industry.
At 12 noon on May 18th, people on beaches all over the east coast will be holding hands in solidarity against seismic airgun blasting and offshore drilling in the Atlantic.

The #JoinHANDS movement started in #Florida.
Back in 2010, a statewide gathering against near and offshore oil drilling occurred in Florida a couple months BEFORE the BP spill disaster.
10,000 Floridians representing 60 towns and cities and over 90 beaches joined hands to protest the efforts by the Florida Legislature and the US Congress to lift the ban on oil drilling in the near and off shores of Florida.
Now in 2019, it is a critical time for our oceans and environment. Say NO to filthy fuels and YES to clean energy!
