What an awesome Friday morning we spent with 8 classes of children from Trinity Lutheran Church and School teaching the importance of using reusable water bottles and bags, not littering on the beach and the impacts of plastics. We also invited them to attend beach cleanups. We talked about fish, sea turtles and other critters and flora found at the beach. They were super listeners and we all had a great time. They especially enjoyed our "instant beach" complete with corals, shells, sea glass and other touchable things. The surfing demo was also a hit!
